Events

Municipal events fall under the recreation services sector of the Village and are purely funded from the Gwaii Trust Community Events Grant and the Gwaii Trust Winter Holidays Grant. Village Council aims to host a variety of events throughout the year that Hawaa, Thank You to Gwaii Trust for supporting these opportunities for Island Residents.

Are you hosting a community event in Daajing Giids that you would like included in the Village Voice?
The Village Voice is a community newspaper published by the Village of Daajing Giids on a quarterly basis (early April, July, October, January). 

If you are a non-profit, society or community organization with a non-commercial event relevant to residents of Daajing Giids you can submit details for possible inclusion in an upcoming issue.
